Wildland Fire Training Program
Since 2004, we have been training wildland firefighters in the Northern Region. We provide quality instruction and excellent documents that can be transferred to any agency or job in the US. This page provides information about the requirements to become a firefighter or to advance your existing skills.
We utilize the most current training which allows computer time to be merged with field time. This allows the student to take advantage of all that is currently offered. Browse the requirments listed below and determine what classe(s) you are looking for than proceed to the schedule.
2012 Wildland Firefighter Requirements

To maintain a FFT2 qualification level, you must have proof of a wildland assignment once every five years. For every year that you would like to be available to work on wildland fires, you must complete the annual training listed below.
FFT2 Annual Training
Annual Fireline Safety Refresher (RT-130)
Arduous - 3 mile pack test (45lb pack in 45 min)

Firefighter Type 1 (FFT1)
After completing your FFT2 training you can continue advancing your qualifications to the next level. As an advanced firefighter trainee, you will learn about additional tools that you can use to fight fire. As you embark upon this mission, you will need to follow the following guide to ensure your qualifications are accepted.
